Nerds & Ammo PLAYTEST

Nerds and Ammo is a first‑person puzzle platformer where husband‑and‑wife scientists, Dr. Isaac Screwit and Dr. Roxy Volt, are suddenly trapped inside their own high‑tech laboratory after an unexpected security lockdown. With the facility’s AI behaving… oddly, each room transforms into a physics‑based puzzle chamber packed with unpredictable hazards and bizarre contraptions. Armed with your trusty SCIENCE CANNON — a non‑lethal launcher that fires an arsenal of quirky projectiles to manipulate the environment — you’ll bounce, trigger, and outwit your way through increasingly devious challenges to escape before the lab’s chaos consumes you.

CONTROLS:

WASD = movement

E = interact/pickup object

SPACE = jump

CTRL = crouch

ESC = pause

KEYS 1-4 = switch weapon

MOUSE = look

LMB = shoot

RMB = alt shoot

NOTES:

This is not a fully working demo, this is for play testing to get feedback on what is working and not working in the game.

FIXES: 

- phase projectile works better when shooting very close to a wall and no longer        passes through the walls

- menu loading times are faster

- pixelated home screen no longer pixelated

Current known issue:

- ultra-wide screen format not fully optimized 

- menu loading and switching have longer than usual delay times
